Job Description:
A company is looking for a Chief Privacy Officer to oversee the
development and implementation of privacy programs in compliance
with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the Privacy Program in alignment
with HIPAA regulations and applicable laws
Establish processes for receiving, documenting, and investigating
privacy-related complaints
Serve as the liaison with external agencies and promote information
privacy awareness within the organization
Required Qualifications
12 or more years of applicable experience in privacy or healthcare
compliance
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees such as a law degree
or MBA preferred
Knowledge of contract law and data privacy regulations, including
HIPAA
Experience in developing and maintaining healthcare compliance
programs
Progressive leadership experience in privacy-related roles is
preferred
