Kitchen Assistant Job Description: Must speak English The

notice.Essential Duties1. Sets up grill station for breakfast, all
ingredients for omelets, including utensils, set up hot line with
hash browns, bacon, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy,
workstation as needed for breakfast.2. Sets up and replenish salad
bar with fresh ingredients daily, change out vessels and clean, set
up salad dressing for salad bar. 3. Sets up grill station cart for
lunch with all ingredients for line, leaf lettuce, sliced tomatoes,
pickles, bacon, burgers, marinated chicken, assorted breads, sliced
meats, and cheese. Prep to include specials for the grill,
sandwiches, and utensils. 4. Works grill station for lunch, break
down station after lunch by wrapping all items putting back on cart
and clean station. 5. Assists the chef with food preparation as
requested. 6. Assists the chef in cleaning food preparation areas
and equipment. 7. Assists the chef as requested in inventorying and
stocking food products and supplies. 8. Performs all other duties
as assigned. 9. Clocks in and out consistently and accurately by
using the electronic timeclock system for all time worked and does
not perform any work when not clocked in. Non-essential Duties
Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements 1. Ability
to use kitchen equipment including, but not limited to oven, stove,
dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chef's
knives. 2. Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 25 pounds
frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. 3. Ability to stand,
bend, stoop, walk, kneel, climb, sit, balance, squat, and crouch.
4. Ability to reach overhead. 5. Ability to see. 6. Ability to
hear. 7. Work Environment The work environment includes typical
conditions of heat and cold involved in a kitchen environment.
Minimum Requirements 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. One
(1) year of experience in food production. 3. Food manager
certification or the ability to obtain certification within one (1)
