Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accessibility Developer to ensure
digital experiences meet accessibility standards through testing
and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits and document
issues with remediation recommendations
Collaborate with designers and developers to address accessibility
issues, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA
Guide teams on accessibility best practices and maintain detailed
records of findings and compliance reports
Qualifications
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and
experience with Drupal and accessibility tools
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, and VPAT creation
Ability to address complex accessibility challenges
collaboratively
US-based, able to pass a background check, including fingerprinting
and obtaining DOI clearance with a PIV card
