Job Description:

Commercial Sheet Metal Manufacturer is seeking a Machine Operator that has experience operating machinery that bends metal.Will be responsible for operating various manual and CNC equipment including slitter, press brake, folder, rollform, etc. Must also be able to determine proper sequence and setup to balance series of in-line machines, simultaneously as well as determine proper material utilization. Will be required to use overhead crane to move raw material and finished product.2nd Shift3:30 pm to 12:00 amRESPONSIBILITIES:-- Must be able to follow production schedule and hit production dates to maintain on time product delivery.-- Need to be able to use a tape, micrometer and learn to program CNC control systems.-- Use and understanding of work order system to update packing list including product bundling.-- Use of check fixtures and gauges to ensure product maintains engineering specifications - ability to adjust roll former tooling and entry guides on two separate roll forming machines to maintain proper dimensions.-- Be able to identify the difference between metal material gauges and finishes.-- Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures, policy and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)-- Must have the ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality.Qualifications:-- Team player willing to cross-train on multiple machines.-- Crane certification is required, must have ability to move loads with a crane in close quarters and around other workers.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.-- Good Communications and math skills.-- Need to be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds approximately 25% of the time.2nd Shift3:30 pm to 12:00 amExcellent Benefits PackagePIb4506a40f9dc-25660-36549222
