Job Description:
A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist who is
organized and has medical billing experience.
Key Responsibilities
Completes accurate and timely insurance verification and data entry
in EMR software
Ensures services have approved authorization prior to service and
completes authorization requests
Communicates with front office staff to maintain a clean billing
process and escalates financial clearance risks as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two or more years of patient account management experience in a
hospital or physician practice setting is preferred
Basic accounting skills are required
